Santa Fe aims to build a strategic science and technology plan

The government of the province of Santa Fe, through the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Production, Science and Technology, reported that it is working on the preparation of the Provincial Strategic Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation Vision 2030, from the generation of large agreements and commitments with all sectors of Santa Fe that contribute to the definition of strategic guidelines for a State policy.

Within this framework, a blended meeting was held with the members of the Scientific, Technological and Innovation Council with the aim of exchanging opinions on strategic actions with a ten-year vision.

In this regard, the Secretary of Science and Technology, Marina Baima, said: “We want form a network with the central actors of the province’s scientific-technological system, That is why the objective of this meeting was to communicate the Consensual Vision, share some of the definitions for the short term and, also, tell about some of the advances linked to all the work that has been done from the formation of work cells and that comes out of the diagnosis and the sub-visions that have been developing. This meeting was vital to be able to finish defining all these questions ”.

This type of meeting seeks to strengthen ties and interactions with institutions specifically dedicated to scientific-technological activity and innovation in the public and private spheres, stated the Government.

Regarding the framework of this specific meeting, Natalia Níboli, part of the Plan Coordination team: “We are building a ten-year vision. We are in a beautiful process where we are mobilized to improve and enhance existing capacities and, at the same time, drawing the guidelines for the future ”.
