The court initiates the appointment order for the indictment and trial of the accused in the Antipulpo case

The National District Seventh Court of Appeal today began announcing the indictment of those involved in the Antipallo case and ordering a preliminary hearing set for Jan. 7.

Judge Davy Timodio Peguro Court staff were instructed to report the indictment to the defendants, the Ministry of Public Works and the attorneys representing the state.

Similarly, the Secretary of the Court, with a designated staff, notifies the parties involved in the determination process. The trial is set for Feb. 7 at 9:00 p.m.

For such purposes, the defendants in custody and house arrest were transferred to the courtroom of the Third College Court in the National District.

The Independents, the last to be indicted in the Antipulpo case, go to court with their lawyers.

The court seized the file by Judge Kenya Romero, the co-ordinator of the National District Trial Courts, after the public ministry deposited formal charges against 27 defendants and 21 companies.

Defendants are Alexis Medina Sánchez, Wacal Bernabé Méndez, José Dolores Santana, Julian Esteban Suriel, Domingo Santiago Muñoz, Aquiles Christopher, Fernando Rosa, Rafael Antonio Germosen, Wilfredo Hidalcogángo, MacArthur.
