Russia will open on the same day instead of McDonald’s in Russia

(CNN) – A spokesman for the new management company Sistema BPO told CNN on Friday that Russia plans to open its own fast food restaurants on Sunday to replace the famed McDonald’s.

The chain’s top 15 restaurants will open in Moscow and the surrounding region on June 12, and he added, “The opening of other outlets across Russia will be followed in the future.”

According to the press office, the new name of the network and plans for the future will be announced later.

The company’s new logo, shared with CNN, features the “restaurant’s main symbols”: two yellow frying sticks and an orange hamburger. The green background indicates to CNN the “quality of the products and services that guests use.”
