SLP Government will award Science, Technology and Innovation Award – La Jornada de San Luis

The Government of San Luis Potosi, headed by Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, through the Potocino Council for Science and Technology (Copocyt), will honor researchers, companies and publishers of science and technology for their contributions to innovation, promotion and knowledge generation.

Rosalba Medina Rivera, Director General of Copocyt, announced through the 2022 calls for the Potocino Prize for Science, Technology and Innovation, that the new government seeks recognition for the people of Potosi.

He explained that there are three invitations, including the Bottosino Prize for Scientific and Technological Research, targeting researchers, young and supportive, in four areas of knowledge, in addition to the Botocino Prize for Innovation, which targets the micro, small, medium and large. Companies that have developed new products, processes, or services.

He also announced that for the first time in the state, the Botocino Prize for Scientific and Technological Publishing will be awarded, aimed at those who carry out activities and generate products to disseminate knowledge and advance scientific careers.

Finally, Medina Rivera explained that this award is the highest recognition from the state for those who contribute to solving problems of public interest, through science, technology and innovation, for which he invited the residents of Potosi to participate in the Calls available at slp.gob.mx/copocyt and apply before 31 August 2022.
