Marcello HernandezA young Dominican-Cuban made history this weekend after debuting as one of the newest comedians on a popular American TV show. Saturday Night Live.
Ahead of its 48th season premiere, the show introduced four new cast members, one of whom joined the cast following the departures of Hernandez, Pete Davidson and other comedians.
Marcello graduated from Ohio John Carroll University in 2019 with a BA in Entrepreneurship and Communication, Television and Screenwriting, and currently performs with Tim Dillon and select tour dates at clubs in New York City.
“Are you a baseball fan?” That’s the question that launched Marcello’s participation on Saturday Night Live. “Well, my mother is Cuban and my father is from the Dominican Republic, so they’re divorced, but that means I love baseball,” the young man said before continuing his hilarious and viral participation.
His participation in the show is spreading fast. The video posted by the program has already received a hundred likes and more than 2.3 million views.
Marcello is the host and creative director of @onlyindade in Miami with over 90K followers, through which he has interviewed Floyd Mayweather, Nicky Jam, Cuba Gooding Jr, Mayor Francis Suarez, Ray J and many more.
