The BetPlay League will soon reach the finals in the round robin stage. Four days and some pending fights, from previous dates, will define the eight categories classified for home runs and who will deny the title at the end of the year.
14 clubs have options to qualify because at this stage, no team has managed to secure itself in this year’s finals. The only clubs eliminated this time around are Dolima, Jaguares, Patriotas, Alianza Petrolera, Cali and Cordulua, who have no chance.
Envicado, the last club in the favorites, has 19 units, 12 points to play for and if they win all the duels, they will reach 31 points. Depending on the other results, the option in the orange box is there, even if it is limited to mathematics. Like Bucaramanga, with 21 units.
In the case of the Oranges, playing with probabilities and direct crosses will happen in the coming days.
The eighth category for now is the Ones Caldas with 25 units. As of now, the lineup is up to 29 units, with Basto leading the championship.
That way, the magic number for hitting home runs would be 31 points, which would be the starting point for dictating which clubs would advance to the bracket. Now, another decisive item will be the goal difference, with the majority of the clubs involved favoring the item. It should be noted that in recent championships, that number has reached 29 points as a trend since 2021.
The number may vary depending on the results of given and postponed duels, which will only be completed before the start of the 20th, the final day of the BetPlay League.
