The Cuban receiver, who went through the ranks of the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros and Miami Marlins, Lorenzo QuintanaV confirmed his presence in the preliminary selection of the Cuban team that will participate in the World Baseball Classic, what “close sources” told journalist Francys Romero.

Meanwhile, he registered 56 total tackles (his single-season high) and went through the Pentagon in the same number of opportunities.

2022 will be decisive in his career as a professional baseball player in the United States, because after coming to the Miami Marlins in 2021 and playing 60 challenges this year, the Florida franchise decided to do without his services, forcing him to try out. Their luck in the Caribbean League.
In the season that ended two months ago, Quintana visited the batter’s box 240 times for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, who play at the Triple A level.
