Breeze told ESPN’s Ed Werter on Sunday that doctors were encouraged by his improvement in the first half of last Sunday’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers, especially the improvement in lung function and the continued scattering of pneumothorax. The 13-time Pro Bowler hopes Werder will be ready to play once he qualifies in the 14th week.
