Within the framework of this session, the various Rednacecyt committees presented their work reports for the 2022-2023 session and actions to be implemented in the coming year regarding the production and development of science and dissemination of knowledge were identified.

In this sense, reports were submitted by the Working Committees of the General Law on Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation (LGHCTI), Regional Planning and Development, Social Allocation of Science, Technology and Innovation, High-Level Human Resources, and Innovation and Technology. transformation.

Virtually, members of the British Council UK, the Open University of Catalonia and the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi participated in delivering educational training programmes. Upcoming Rednacecyt activities were also announced: National Knowledge and Innovation Week, the network’s 25th anniversary, International Summer of Science, and others.

Rosalba Medina Rivera, President of Rednacecyt, highlighted the organization of the Zacatecan Council of Science, Technology and Innovation (Cozcyt) to implement various activities that took place for three days in the capital of the state of Zacatecas.

As part of the 4th ASCTI National Meeting, 14 best practices for dissemination and popularization of science, technology and innovation, previously selected by a committee, were presented. Of these, the best three were awarded. First place went to the state of Michoacan, with the scientific reading project; The second and third for Baja California Sur and Veracruz, with general science and transforming the way you think and act.
