The Vietnamese company offers business opportunities in Cuba with government and private companies

Vietnamese company Thai Binh this Monday presented 130 representatives of Cuba’s government and private business sector with joint business opportunities in sectors such as energy, agriculture, iron and steel, electronics, recycling, electromotive, biotechnology and aviation.

Carricarte recalled that the parent company has played an important role in the development of business relations between the two countries, which dates back some 25 years.

According to the manager, this growing sector in Cuba with more than 9,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is special in exchanging dynamics between the Vietnamese public and private sectors.

This will allow Thai Binh to transfer experience from an expanding family business to its development, thus confirming the expansion of the private sector in Vietnam and its role in the rapid growth achieved by this brotherly nation, media reports.

“Thai Bin is a private company that is committed to Cuba and maintains its faith in the country, despite the current problems,” Carrigard stressed.

He said the meeting will explore new opportunities for business relations with openings for MSMEs and other companies, in line with the Cuban development model and the Vietnamese company’s desire to increase exports to the Latin American and Caribbean region.

Tran Ngoc Tuan, Chairman and General Director of Thai Binh Corporation, reiterated his trust in Cuban partners, adding that his company’s work is the basis for solid support between the two countries.

“With the country’s help, we can implement more projects and bring people together,” said the Vietnamese businessman.
