In pictures shared on Maduro's social networks, he walked into the cockpit of a plane bound for the Caribbean island to talk to Sukhoi pilots over the radio.

“Congratulate our brave patriots, the revolutionary pilots of the Sukhoi aircraft, the entire Venezuelan Air Force and our Bolivarian Military Aviation. “This Caribbean dawn is here… we are going to the historic summit of St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” Maduro commented in the post.

The Chavista official insisted that he would bring to Celac “the deep voice of the people who saw the birth and formation of the American Liberation Army, the voice of our people.”

“I feel safe because you are always at the forefront of protecting our airspace, our homeland,” Maduro declared “with pride” about the pilots.
