The Ibagué Mayor's Office, through the operations carried out by the Urban Director, seeks to: City merchants who did not legalize themselves, Comply with all current regulations and standards.
Among the commercial areas that were intervened in are: La Macarena, Cadiz, El Salado, Jordan and Arcaparaso, Neighborhoods that represent a major invasion of public space as a result of these activities.
Jorge Zambrano, head of the operational and real estate office of the urban director, explained that these operations are carried out in conjunction with the Directorate of Public Space and the Ministry of Health, in order to: Verification of compliance with permits and health conditions.
“These operations are carried out in collaboration with the Directorate of Public Space and the Ministry of Health, to review the appropriate use for the economic use of public space, taking into account those buildings that have signed a permit for the development of commercial activity and occupy the public space (front garden) and those who use it without any permit,” said Zambrano.
