Starlink, the promise of the global satellite internet
The satellites make up the project of Starlink. With a start date of operations in 2015, this program is made up of low-orbit satellites on the planet that provide internet to their home receivers.
Although there are already more than a thousand satellites deployed, it is expected to reach up to 12 thousand to provide internet coverage to much of the world, especially to those areas where geography makes it impossible for local operators to work. The system works without wiring: just with a receiving antenna and the home modem.
