The Municipality of Rawson carried out the inauguration of Paseo La Superiora, a revitalized space that responds to the administration's goals of improving the quality of life From the apartment's neighbors.
This project arose based on a proposal from the “El Pulga Messi” association, which was implemented by the municipality through a series of improvements that transformed the sector.
The tasks carried out included rebuilding sidewalks and sidewalks, leveling the land, landscaping an area of 3,000 square meters, placing LED lights, and installing a bench.And garbage bins, a bus kiosk and the general improvement of the islands and the roundabout at the arrival of Conector and Superiora, among others.
During the event, the Mayor of Rawson, Carlos Munesaga, highlighted the importance of this type of work for the community, stressing that “overcoming abandonment and apathy is possible when working as a team.”
Munisaga thanked the neighbors for their commitment and the municipal team that made the work possible.
He pointed out that Paseo La Superiora is the beginning of more projects that seek to beautify and improve the station neighborhood, promoting an environment where residents can enjoy recreational and cultural activities.
Moreover, the opening coincided with the celebration of World Mental Health Day, in whose speech Munisaga highlighted this year's slogan, “Work and mental health, a fundamental link.” In this sense, the mayor stressed the importance of mental health. Being a community also depends on creating spaces that encourage social interaction and emotional support.
Therefore, the new park not only beautifies the place, but also becomes a meeting point that contributes to the well-being of the neighbors.
“This space is for you to enjoy, take care of and protect, because we did it thinking of you, your families and the well-being of the entire community,” said Munisaga, who also announced the construction of a new sports centre. In the middle of the La Estación neighborhood.
The ceremony also included the participation of neighbor Mirta Carmona, who thanked the mayor and the construction team on behalf of the neighbors, and highlighted the positive impact this space will have on local entrepreneurs, giving them a place to showcase their products and generate income.
