A new wave of layoffs at CI Games

CI Games has made a new layoff.

According to CEO Marek Tymi´ski, the Polish company already laid off ten percent of its staff in January this year as part of a restructuring process aimed at “maintaining the strength and stability of the business”.

In this case, the layoffs will affect thirty employees from various product groups. According to a statement sent out by CI Games, the decision was made to “increase efficiency in meeting strategic priorities going forward.”

A spokesperson explained “All affected employees have been informed of the plan today and will be fully supported throughout the process in the coming weeks.”

CI Games has confirmed that the new layoffs will not affect Hexworks, the development studio for Lords of the Fallen, which is currently working on Project 3, a new action RPG.

Meanwhile, the other in-house development studio, Underdog Studio, has received an extension in its deadline to deliver a vertical cut of Project Survive before the game enters the full production phase.

The new layoffs come a month after the company delivered its latest financial results with record revenue of $60 million in 2023. copies in its first ten days in stores.
