This Tuesday, August 13, at 01:45 am, tragic news shook the French people after a volunteer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was reported dead in his apartment in the 18th arrondissement of the French capital.

French media outlet BFMTV also reported that the 21-year-old girl went missing after attending the closing ceremony that officially brought the world's most important multi-sport event to a close in Stade D. France.
A complaint was filed at the 18th District Police Station by an ex-boyfriend last Monday at 7.25 pm. However, the victim's mother first raised the alarm as she did not hear from her daughter as the closing ceremony ended on Sunday. According to Le Parisien newspaper, the young woman was last seen on Ney Boulevard around 1:00 a.m. Monday.
The missing woman's cellphone was located in St. Owen on Monday at 11:00 p.m., a key clue for investigators. The victim's family said they received a disturbing text message from an acquaintance suggesting the young woman's partner had done “something stupid”.
Acting on this tip, police forces went to the young woman's friend's home on rue Émile Blémont in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. They entered the apartment around 01.45 am on Tuesday and found the lifeless body of the missing woman.
