On Wednesday afternoon, Vice President Raquel Pena arrived in the country to receive the fourth batch of vaccines. It contained 1 million 50 thousand volumes of biology against Govit-19, which was acquired in China and manufactured by Sinovak Laboratory.

The ship was expected to arrive at Los Americas International Airport at 4:30 p.m.

Pena announced that the exact date for when the next batch of vaccines will arrive is not yet known, but he estimates that by the end of March they could step on Dominican soil.

In addition to the Vice President, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China H.E. Jong-run attended.
