Foxborough (AB) -Doc Prescott threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Lamb in overtime and the Dallas Cowboys defeated New England 35-29 on Sunday, with Bill Belichic as your head coach for the first win against the Patriots.
Dallas has not won in New England since 1987 and was 0-5 against Belize. The Cowboys (5-1) went on to win five consecutive games, their longest series since 2016.
The Cowboys took a 17-14 lead after three quarters, and that’s when the fun began. The teams exchanged four of the four touchdowns, three of them in the final two and a half minutes.
New England (2-4) took a 21-20 lead when spectacular Cowboys cornerback Travan Dix intercepted Mc Jones and returned 42 yards — his seventh interception and the second touchdown of the season. In the next play, Jones discovers Kendrick Barn for a 75-yard touchdown. Jones joined Jacobi Meyers for a two-point shift.
But Prescott led the Cowboys to a 40-yard offense and sent Greg Surlein’s 49-yard field goal more than a game. Dallas New England ended the game after their first handball, keeping the Patriots at home 0-4 for the first time in 22 years as Belize coach.
