The Albaidense city council has also received in the same line of aid to museums and permanent museum collections and for real estate, a grant of 8,000 euros for the International Museum of Toc Manual de Campanes, MitMac. The aid will help to adapt the space on the top floor of the museum, also located in the Palau d’Albaida. Albert pointed out that “the subsidy will allow us to advance in the implantation of the museum, which we are carrying out little by little.” The mayor indicated that progress is also being made in the creation of the Escola de Campaners, and along with it the adaptation of MitMac.
The line of aid from the Ministry of Culture also reaches Bocairent, which receives 10,000 euros for the strategic plan of action of the Museu Antoni Ferri, which exhibits the permanent collection of works donated by the internationally renowned painter. Also with 10,000 euros the City Council of l’Olleria has been benefited for the drafting of the museographic and museological project of the Vidre collection of the town, a museum that exhibits glass pieces from different periods, from the 18th century.
Atzeneta d’Albaida earns 7,990 euros for an audiovisual and multimedia adaptation project; and the Bicorp City Council obtains 2,000 euros for the preparation of the catalog and registry of the Ecomuseu of the town of the Canal de Navarrés. Ontinyent will have 4,852 euros to make improvements to the permanent exhibition, equipment and restoration of the movable heritage of the Maova (Museu Arqueològic d’Ontinyent i la Vall d’Albaida). Also in Ontinyent, the Societat de Festers receives 3,638 euros to produce audiovisuals and for the acquisition of peripheral equipment for the museum of the festive entity.
Requests denied due to lack of budget
The Ministry of Culture has rejected, due to budget insufficiency, the requests of the Font de la Figuera, to restore a door; Thousands, for interactive tools; Vallada, for a museum space for audiovisual projection; the Parròquia de l’Assumpció de Bocairent, for the restoration of the Bisbe Miró cope; and the José Segrelles de Albaida House-Museum, for equipment and infrastructures
