Albert Pujols hooks his HR 702; The Cardinals are paying tribute to him and Puerto Rican Yadier Molina

ST Louis – slugger for the St. Louis Cardinals, Albert PujolsHe hit his 702nd career home run in the third inning of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Pujols went 0-1 from the pitch Ronnie Contreras Depth to center field.

The 42-year-old Dominican is fourth on the career home run list behind Babe Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755) and Barry Bonds (762). The senior hit 23 home runs in what would be his final season.

Elias is the first trio in MLB history to have their first and last games together over 6,000 days, according to the Sports Bureau.
