The luxury restaurants found on earth are no longer enough, therefore, the level of perspective must be raised. This is the idea expressed by Rasmus Munk, a chef from Copenhagen, Denmark, who has received Michelin recognition for his Alchemist food company. Together with SpaceVIP, they have partnered to offer recreational travel 100,000 kilometers above sea level.

As reported on his Instagram account, Rasmus is very excited about the project, which will undoubtedly revolutionize the way we eat from now on. It is estimated that the first tests will begin in April 2024 and the first official flight from Kennedy Space Center in Florida in 2025.

A commercial airliner normally travels at an altitude of 31,000 kilometers to 42,000 kilometers, but with this advancement, people will be higher than usual. From aboard the Neptune, diners will observe earthly wonders as they savor the space menu. In total, the trip lasts six hours.
