Android and Apple phones will stop working in 2022: Note

Dozens of cell phones go on sale each year, so others are being phased out and eventually declared obsolete.

According to Google, as of January 1, 2022, all smartphones running the Android operating system 2.3.7 or lower will no longer receive updates, so they may be vulnerable to cyber-attacks or other types of errors.

The well-known iPhone maker has also released a list of devices that will stop working in 2022:

In addition, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will not receive additional updates by the end of 2022, and their owners will not be able to visit the brand’s official repair centers.
