Apple week, in a nutshell

Like every Sunday, we bring you the news of the week, a summary of the most important thing that happened at Apple at a glance. From AirPods Max to iPhone 15, goes through Mac and Products that don’t “obviously” exist yet. If you want to know the salad of information we were given this week, this post is for you!

Very little is known about the iPhone 15, and that means the rumors will continue to grow. One of the most talked about this week is about its connection port. We’re also going to talk about the new colors that will be available on both the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, a feature coming to the Apple Watch in the future, new apps discovered, and more. A problem with the AirPods Max, which is already recurring for the third year in a row.

What you need to know about the iPhone 15 this week?

After rumors that Apple might introduce three iPhone 15 models with USB ports and Thunderbolt, which would allow transfer speeds of up to 40GB per second, encouraging information resurfaced this week.

Now there is talk again that the iPhone 15 will have USB Type-C ports, but with 2.0 speeds. Thunderbolt 4 is ridiculously fast compared to standards. A phone from 2023, transfer speeds from 2007. It’s not clear if this will happen, which models will have the feature, or if Apple will pull exclusive accessories. Gives faster speed to its next flagships.

Colors of the upcoming iPhone

Not everything is going to be negative rumours. The colors of the next iPhone go hand in hand with the new materials. The Pro range models are rumored to be built in titanium instead of the current stainless steel. We’ll lose the gold finish, but we’ll get a new titanium gray and dark blue special hues, similar to what’s happening with the dark purple of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

As for the iPhone 15, these will come in blue, black, green, yellow and pink colors. However, there is no talk (yet) of these being made of titanium.

Apple Watch will get this functionality in the future

Thanks to a recently published patent, it is known that these may incorporate a color detection sensor. So? If we wear a yellow dress or a purple band, the Apple Watch will detect this color and adjust the color palette of the screen based on that color.

This will be a feature of a cosmetic nature, however, relative to the rest of the competition, it will be the motivation and differentiating point of these watches.

New apps have been found on Mac, iPhone and iPad

User X has discovered in a code what the new apps from different Apple teams will be. Following a logical sequence, the numbers that appear correspond to the M5, M5 Pro, M5 Max and M5 Ultra processors.

Among the range of mobile chips, the A19 processor is found. In both cases, they belong to three and two future generations, respectively, which are yet to arrive, as we haven’t seen M3 or A17 processors (yet).

Problems with AirPods Max continue

One of the AirPods Max’s biggest design flaws has consequences for users. Due to the construction of the pads, after prolonged use, they form water condensation inside them.

Apple’s side is yet to have a strong response to all the complaints from users. Instead, the company urges consumers to “take extra care” when using the headphones.
