He Dominican Felix Bautista has been placed on the disabled list with an ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) injury.
This was announced by Mike Elias (Orioles General Manager) this Saturday. The 28-year-old had to leave last Friday’s game against the Colorado Rockies with a sore arm.
But everything points to that “Convenience” De Bautista is more serious than he thought, as he was sent to the disabled list, and lefty DL Hall is already a replacement for the moment.
Bautista is one of the top stacks in the Orioles bullpen. He pitched in 55 games this campaign and posted a record of eight wins and two losses with an impressive ERA of 1.48.
Additionally, Bautista is second in the American League in games saved (33) and has the best WHIP (0.92) among pitchers with at least 50 appearances on the mound.

“The Mountain” (nicknamed Bautista) dominates his rivals. He has allowed just 30 hits in 61.0 innings and has struck out 110 batters.
Opponents are hitting him for an average of .144/.245/.215/.460. Batista was practically inexplicable to his opponents.
Felix Bautista injured without details
Details of the extent of the injury are not yet known. But whatever it is, it’s very disturbing.
The Orioles are going through a great season and are emerging as one of the must-have candidates for the postseason.
Baltimore currently leads the young regional East Division with a record of 80-48. The absence of their key reliever in the final stretch of the tournament will be a blow to this club.
Batista’s injury isn’t that complicated and let’s hope he’ll be back on the mound in no time. For now, we have to wait for further reports on the health of the person from Quisqueyan.
