(CNN) — Father of five daughters Bruce Willis was celebrated by his wife Emma Heming and Demi Moore, who shared moving tributes to the actor on Father’s Day this Sunday.
“Father’s Day is a time when I reflect on the deep admiration and respect I have for Bruce as I watch him father our girls.” wrote Hemming took to her verified Instagram page this Sunday morning to show off a cute photo of Willis snuggling up with her daughter Mabel.
“What he teaches them will be generation after generation. Unconditional love, kindness, strength, compassion, patience, generosity, resilience,” Heming added.
The “Die Hard” actor and Heming married in 2009 and share two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
Actress Demi Moore was married to Willis for 13 years before splitting in 2000. He shared In a tribute to her on her Instagram page this Sunday, Willis featured a black-and-white photo of herself with her three daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis.
“BW forever grateful to you for giving me these three beautiful girls. We love our #girl. Happy Father’s Day!” Moore captioned the photo.
Father’s Day tributes are especially poignant as Willis and his family continue to deal with his current health challenges.
Last year, Willis’ family announced he was retiring from acting after the actor suffered from aphasia, a condition that impairs his ability to communicate. Mayo Clinic.
