The United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC, for short) updated today the list of high-risk places to travel in the midst of an epidemic, and Puerto Rico has been added.

The agency is located on the island Level four Exchange, which indicates the highest in the measure and recommends that travelers should not come to Puerto Rico or be fully vaccinated to do so.

Puerto Rico was in third place, indicating a “high” spread risk, and went to a “very high level”.

Six more places are included in the list: Azerbaijan, Estonia, Guam, Macedonia, Saint Lucia and Switzerland.

CDC level 4 is present in more than 500 viral infections per 100,000 people in the last 28 days.
