Rander Peña, Chavismo's vice president for Latin America, urged Chile's President Gabriel Boric this Tuesday to “wash his mouth before talking” about Venezuela and its people, after describing the regime of President Nicolás Maduro.

“You cannot stand staring at President Nicolás Maduro, you lack discipline, you lack a lot. “Wash your mouth before talking about Venezuela and our people,” Pena said in a message shared on Telegram.

Likewise, the vice chancellor accused Boric of betraying and exploiting “the people of Chile” by presenting himself as a “leftist and popular choice”.

“In exchange for your speaker's obedience to fascism, you have subjugated Pinochet to the right. You have stolen hope from your people. “All this year we have seen people's struggle, little people like you, seeking glory, are part of the club of losers,” said Peña.

Likewise, the Venezuelan official called Boric a “coward” and a “failure.”

This Tuesday, in his third speech before the United Nations General Assembly, the Chilean president said his country is paying particular attention to the crisis Venezuela is experiencing.

“We are facing a dictatorship that aims to steal an election, that persecutes its opponents and is indifferent to the deportation of not only thousands, but millions of citizens,” Boric said.

Likewise, he called for the recognition of Edmundo Gonzalez's victory in the July 28 elections, in which Maduro was declared the winner by the National Electoral Council (CNE).
