Chihuahua's country band wins over the American public

The Chihuahuas who founded the country music band 'Whiskey River Junction' stand out by having many shows in cities in the US where they are little known and successful at what they love.

Members of the band are Mario Avidia, vocals and acoustic guitar; Coyo Rios on drums, as well as Armando Robles and Ian Rosewood on electric and acoustic guitars.

“We play country music, we're from here in the city of Chihuahua, and if you start investigating, the drummer and I are from Madera, one of the guitarists is from Culiacan, the bassist and the other guitarist are from here. The capital,” said Mario.

He revealed that the platforms have three singles and two music videos; Will release a work with respective videos soon.

The band was planned before the health contingencies caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19), but it did not see the light of day until September last year.

Although it is a relatively new group, it already has presentations in different places in the state of Chihuahua, as well as special events in Guadeloupe, Guerrero and Madera as part of the 'Festival of Three Cultures'.

Avidia announced that they have been nominated for several International Country Awards and that they will be performing at the Memorial City Hall Performance Center in Marshall, Texas on October 3rd.
