On Friday morning, a new edition of the “Let’s get up in the public space” march was developed, an activity organized by the municipality’s Social Development Secretariat in conjunction with the regional schedules programmes, the local Public Health Secretariat and several social organizations. Educational institutions from La Matanza participated in the mobilization from Plaza Calle 200 to Plaza Calle 1,000, in the city of Ciudad Evita.
The initiative, which has been implemented for four years, aims to strengthen community bonds as well as interaction between children and the environment, in order to get to know them, enjoy them and take care of them and to promote recognition and the need for community spaces. On this occasion, spaces for healthcare were erected with vaccination, counseling and ANSeS procedures, a “mural”, children’s games and an artistic finale.
