(CNN Spanish) – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced all nominees for the 94th edition on February 8, 2022. Oscars.
Some of the films that came to theaters exclusively during the epidemics won some Oscars. The power of the dogStarring Benedict Cumberbatch, it tops the list with 12 nominations.
Actress Haryana Dipos starring as Anita in the updated version of Western storyNominee for Supporting Actress at the 2022 Oscars.
Dipos, who has already won a Golden Globe Award for his role, accepted the role from Rita Moreno in the original 1961 version of the film. Born in Puerto Rico, Moreno won an Oscar in 1962 for his role as Anita, the first Latin to win an Academy Award. Moreno also appeared as Valentina in the film version of Spielberg.
If Dipos wins, he and Moreno will join a small group of award-winning actor-actress couples for playing the same role.
