CONALEP wins a bronze medal in the Colombia-ADN International Science and Technology Competition

The Juárez III campus team did great in the Free Robotics class.

Ciudad Juarez, Cheh. – Students of the College of Technical Vocational Education of the University of Chihuahua (CONALEP) Juárez III Campus won the bronze medal in the free robotics category at the Ibero-American Competition for Student Projects in Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship, which was held in Bogota, Colombia.

The team was made up of Ricardo García Castillo and José Manuel Avila García, recent graduates from a mechatronics degree, who were advised by teacher Abraham Jacobo Echevarria Corrales.

“We continue to work with firm steps towards achieving the goals and fulfilling our mission, which is to train technical professionals, instrumentalists, and for this reason we will continue to support our youth, in accordance with the mandate of our Governor Maro Campos,” said Conalep’s General Manager, José Alfredo Chavez Ruiz.

The Infomatrix Colombia 2023 event, supported by the Latin American Society for Science and Technology (SOLACYT), engaged students from basic to higher education, in the categories of free robotics, software development, animation, science story and digital art. .
