Congress approves 30-day siege in Solola – Prinza Libre

The Republican Congress has declared a state of emergency in Solola’s municipalities of Santa Catarina Ixtahuhan and Nahualah by President Alejandro Chiamate.

The move received 88 votes in favor, 64 delegates absent, and only eight voted against.

This siege is the second time that Chiamate has ordered the same territory in his government, and unlike the first order issued on May 30, 2020, the delegates are ordered to submit a detailed report with the results to the Ministry of Public Works and the National Civil Police. Actions must be taken.

The order corresponds to the number 20-2021 and will be in force for 30 days due to a regional conflict that has been implemented in both municipalities and claimed the lives of 1 person last weekend.

The clash has created a siege of residents on 171km of the route between the Americans on Monday and Tuesday, where they also demanded that the authorities clear the coffins of the deceased and find a solution to the border issue. It was over 100 years.
