NY – Fast food chain McDonald’s will open its first pilot location this month in Bolingbrook (Illinois). of CosMcIt presents itself as a small format of stores, focusing above all on “refreshing” drinks with slightly different flavor combinations.
This was announced by the chain on its website yesterday, where it noted that CosMc’s stores, set in the space, will focus on “exploring beverages” and pair “bold and unexpected” flavors with vibrant colors.
Drinks sold at CosMc’s include a green tea lemonade and a blueberry lemonade and a Mexican churro iced coffee.
CosMc will also sell some products that can already be found at McDonald’s and are very popular with customers, such as Egg McMuffins, M&M McFlurries or McPops.
The first Bolingbrook location will serve as a “trial” like ten other pilot CosMCs the company plans to open in the Dallas and San Antonio (Texas) areas by the end of 2024. If they work, this new form of expansion.
According to the company, the new location was born out of nostalgia, and in fact, it was named after the chain’s former mascot, an alien who starred in the company’s commercials in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Just like a regular McDonald’s, customers can use self-service and order food from their car through the windows of the premises.
And CosMc’s logo, although it includes the highly recognizable lowercase M, is different from the usual logo of the world’s number one fast food chain.
