ZACATECAS. Researchers from the Academic Unit of Electrical Engineering (UAIE), from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), joined the celebration of Children’s Day and created a web page where they will make available to children, particularly from 6 to 12 years, various courses to introduce them to the logic of programming, the operation of a computer and the world of engineering.

In this context, the director of the Software Engineering program, Carlos Eric Galván-Tejada, announced that, with these activities to be held on May 2, the purpose is to introduce infants to the world of electronics from a simple and fun way, through the courses: “Microcontrollers, do you know how each light on the traffic lights works?”, “The magic of electricity”, “My first animation with pixels”; “Program your own robot”; “How are the sounds composed?”, “Programming my video game” and “The reading of Astronáutica de Carlos Pazos”.

The director of the Software Engineering program emphasized that the space was limited, due to the pandemic.
