Demonstrations in Brazil demand the removal of Jair Bolzano

(CNN) – Struggles against the President Brazil, Jair Bolsanaro, began Saturday afternoon in dozens of cities in Brazil.

Organized by social movements and left-wing parties, protesters are demanding the removal of Bolsanaro and more vaccines against Govt-19, which has already killed more than 548,000 people in South America, according to Johns Hopkins University.

This Saturday’s session marks the fourth fight against Bolsanaro this year, with rising corruption scandals in the government and declining approval ratings.

Early Saturday morning in Sao Paulo, a group of protesters set fire to a 10-meter statue made in memory of Borba Cotto, a historical figure associated with the Brazilian Midwestern colonization that enslaved indigenous peoples and blacks. The “external revolution” group accepted responsibility. Firefighters extinguished the fire without causing damage to the statue.
