Deputy Candidate Arrested For False Death And Dangerous Driving | News from El Salvador

Christian Democratic Party (PDP) deputy candidate Karina Jasmine Flores was arrested on Tuesday in connection with an apparent drunken traffic accident, the National Civil Police said.

While Ramos Vasquez was inspecting a vehicle 8 1/2 kilometers away from Mansour Romero Boulevard, the prisoner collided with the CAM patrol in the back, and the man who was taken to the hospital where he died was seriously injured.

Authorities point out that the 44-year-old candidate, who works as a singer and broadcaster, was driving under the influence of alcohol.

“The prisoner refused to be subjected to alcohol,” police sources said on Twitter, adding that he would be taken into custody by the relevant authorities, which would launch an investigation.
