Similarly, the prevention agency places 101 municipalities in yellow alert in the departments of Olancho, Colon, Atlantida, Islas de Bahia, Santa Barbara and Lembira. In this sense, the 57 municipalities located in the departments of Gracias a Dios, Cortés and Ocotepeque will remain on green alert indefinitely.
According to him. The latest updated Climate Outlook report, conducted by Center for Atmospheric, Oceanic and Seismological Studies (CENAOS), “El Nino”, will continue to affect the rains this June, July and August, increasing temperatures, lack of access to water for human consumption in many municipalities of the country.
