Espacio Bertelsmann finished its best semester since reopening in 2019, surpassing all expectations.
During this period, it has become a meeting point for diversity, hosting a variety of events related to current affairs, culture, human resources, education, training, and innovation, among others.
Through a total of 95 events organized by the Bertelsmann Foundation and in cooperation with other companies and institutionsThe space featured book presentations and cultural events, highlighting activities organized by the Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial.
Among them are such works as “And who pays it?” By Francisco de la Torre, as well as the latest book by Ariana Godoy, Perder la gracia. Music was also an integral part of the programme, with concerts such as “Recuerdos de una vida”, by the Ángel G.
In addition to culture, the Espacio Bertelsmann has been the scene of important training and employment events. Among them, the annual VT meeting of EL ESPAÑOL and Invertia stands out, as well as the activities of the Foundation, such as the launch ceremony of the Alianza Awards for Dual VT in collaboration with the CEOE Foundation.
There were also workshops and discussions with dual youth and a presentation of the Xcelence Report. Internationally, the space has hosted closely related events, such as the presentation of studies on the Spanish vision for Germany, promoted by the German Embassy and the Elcano Royal Institute.
In addition, there were meetings about Europe and its neighbors to the south and east in cooperation with the Bertelsmann Stiftung, as well as events about NATO. The empowerment of women in politics has also been a topic of discussion, with an event organized by the Club of Madrid and the Liz Mohn Center in collaboration with the Global Leadership Coalition.
At the same time, the Foundation continued to work on developing new work streams, with a focus on creating environments for intergenerational dialogue and discussion to bring young people closer to the institutions.
