Exclusive space for gaming enthusiasts
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Worldwide Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, welcomed visitors to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and will soon welcome visitors to the Paralympic Games from August 29 to September 8, with the new pop-up Olympic Space Samsung | Carré Marigny, located in the heart of the City of Light.
The space took visitors through a variety of immersive experiences, from a visual journey through Samsung’s Olympic heritage to hands-on demonstrations of Samsung’s latest Galaxy innovations, showcasing new ways to celebrate the Olympic spirit in a way that only Samsung can do with Galaxy AI.
Samsung has once again collaborated with award-winning architect Jean Nouvel, who also designed the façade of the Samsung Olympic Space | 125 Champs-Élysées, on the new Carré Marigny site, which runs from the famous Champs-Élysées to the Place de la Concorde.
Located near some of Paris’ most famous landmarks and the open-air stadium where skating and breaking competitions are held, the space features a stunning glass façade that uses color and angles to intrigue visitors and give them a sense of the open space with a light-filled environment where you can enjoy Samsung’s most immersive pop-up experience yet. The multimedia façade also displays images of athletes from around the world to celebrate the power of sport united by Samsung Galaxy.

Upon entering, visitors were able to learn more about how Samsung has supported the Olympic Games for nearly four decades, following the brand’s journey to becoming a Worldwide Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the role its technology has played in the evolution and enhancement of the Olympic Games. They also got a closer look at all of the Olympic Edition phones to date, including the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and a look at some of the Olympic torches dating back to Athens 2004.
Visitors joined the popular Olympic tradition of pin trading with Samsung’s exclusive promotion. Visitors participated in the Galaxy AI experience by purchasing any Galaxy family product and were awarded a Samsung Paris 2024 Olympic Pin.
The foldable wall, created from 171 repurposed Galaxy Z Fold5 devices, also features a series of videos of lounge, skateboarding, and surfing. Using kinetic production techniques, the screen comes to life, creating a captivating and dynamic experience for everyone to enjoy.
