FC Barcelona shakes off past disappointments with dramatic win in Women’s Champions League

“Even though we created a lot of chances, we made it difficult in the first half,” Bronze told Dazn.

“We know we have enough quality to come back for any game. I don’t think we’re worried about scoring three goals, which is crazy, but that’s the talent in this team.”

The game continued at its frantic pace, but Barcelona prevailed as Fridolina Rolpo scored the game-winner after 70 minutes after the Wolfsburg defense tried to clear the ball.

The victory sealed Barcelona’s status as the dominant team in European women’s club football, as they won their second Champions League title in three years and joined an elite group of only six teams to have won the trophy more times.
