City of Juarez.– For the inauguration of the Casa de Juan Gabriel Museum, all the free accesses scheduled for this week are sold out, but from September 2, the amount of redemption fees to visit the place will be announced, said Leticia Soleres, person in charge of media attention of the Department of Communication Coordination.
He said free visits are scheduled this week by registering on the museum's website, www.museojuangabriel.com, but there is no more space, so tickets and donations to enter the museum will be released starting next week.
In addition to the page, those interested can book their tickets on the Juan Gabriel Museum app, which can be downloaded on iPhone and Android devices.
The gallery will welcome groups of up to 10 people on the two-hour long tour, he said.
“They can't take photos or audio,” he added.
He pointed out that the facility is disabled friendly as there are lifts and ramps for wheelchairs.
The inauguration of the Juan Gabriel Museum took place on Friday, August 23, within the framework of the commemoration of the eighth anniversary of the “Divo de Juarez” that took place on August 28.
The venue is located in the singer-songwriter's home, at 16 de Septiember Avenue and Perú Street.
Felipe Rojas, director of the Juan Gabriel Foundation, said on the opening day – the museum is a meeting place because it will showcase the legacy the singer left through his music.
“Many thanks to Alberto Aguilera for giving us a Juan Gabriel to love in all his forms,” he added.
Next Sunday, September 1, the Juárez Zungabrilísimo 2024 festival will conclude with a star performance by singer Edith Márquez at 7:00 pm in the Plaza de la Mexicanidad. (Araly Castañón / El Diario)
