However, Superman is not the only actor to debut as the love interest of the ‘Man of Steel’, Lois Lane, previously played by Amy Adams, is now played by actress Rachel Brosnahan.

For her part, Rachel Brosnahan is slightly better known than her costar, as she starred in the hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, for which she has so far won an Emmy and two Golden Globes.

The new Superman movie will be released on July 11, 2025 and will be directed entirely by Gunn.
This comes months after British actor Henry Cavill announced that he would not be playing the Justice League superhero again.
The artist revealed through his Instagram account: “I had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran, which is sad news for everyone. After all, I’m not coming back as Superman.

The decision that surprised both the actor and his fans would be that of Gunn, who confirmed moments earlier that he would write a new “Superman” movie to focus on the superhero’s youth.
