Dávila is also the director of Miss Universe Canada and the owner of the Miss and Mr. World pageants in Nicaragua. LA PRENSA tried to contact the businessman on several occasions, but he did not respond to our calls.
Information obtained by this newspaper reveals that model Keisel Garcia will be crowned by current Miss Universe Shaynice Palacios in Miami in the coming weeks. Beauty czar Osmel Sousa will advise the queen-designate.

Regarding the registration of the Miss Nicaragua brand in Florida, related to businessman Javier Baxter, sources close to the case clarified that the name is not connected to the Miss Universe franchise.
“There was never such a contract or agreement, there was an intention to acquire the right, but nothing was signed with the organization,” one of the people involved told LA PRENSA.
They have clarified that they are not making it public as the talks are ongoing. 80 thousand to 100 thousand dollars was negotiated.

“Here in Miami you can register Miss Leon, Miss Managua and anything you want, but that doesn't necessarily connect you to Miss Universe because it's not registered under the Miss Universe franchise,” the source clarified.
They insisted that neither El Qualito restaurant, businessman Javier Baxter nor his son Alexander Baxter have anything to do with the new Miss Nicaragua election or our country's participation in Miss Universe 2024.
Until now, the Miss Universe Organization, which has kept the situation completely secret, has avoided making a statement about Nicaragua.
