High school students participate in the “Science and Technology Competition” – Ecos de Rosarito

High school students participated in: “Science and Technology Competition”, which was held at Lucio Blanco High School, where students from different schools presented projects on the topic: “Research, Educational Model and Device”.

The aim of the competition was for students to translate their knowledge into projects of interest, in a fun and practical way. Therefore, the first place winners in the hardware category were the students of the Santillana del Mar Bilingual Institute, with their project Safe-Alarm; Second place went to students from Michaela Aguilera Topete High School, with their project of a removable grill with car rims, and third place went to the project called Dulce Voltaje, submitted by students from Baja California School.

In the research category, first place went to students from Michaela Aguilera Topiti High School; Siglo XXI High School won second place for its research on nuclear energy in Mexico, and third place for the topic Artificial Intelligence: The Immediate Future presented by students of Abraham Lincoln High School. In the Educational Project category, first place went to a Baja California school with its Memory Dynamics project. The nine winning teams from each category will participate in the state competition to be held in Tijuana on Friday, June 14.
