IKEA Arrives In Ponferrada With A New Design And Planning Space

As Ponferradagoy advanced, IKEA will arrive soon to Ponferrada with a new format dedicated to personalized sales. With the goal of being closer to the Ponferradina population and become more and more accessible, IKEA plans to open this planning and design point in mid-November.

Located in a place of more than 75 square meters on the ground floor of the El Rosal Shopping Center, will have a initial staff of five employees. Customers who come to this space will be able to design personalized projects for all the rooms in their home together with experts from IKEA. In addition, they will be able to receive assistance to make online purchases or contract the collection, transport and assembly services.

The design point will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday with a schedule of 10 to 22 hours.

  • 60 merchandise delivery points – Pick-Up Points – in own warehouses or those managed by its service providers;
  • An urban store in the center of Madrid, on Goya Street, and a recently opened suburban store in Las Rozas (Madrid);
  • Establishments with a temporary character called Pop-Up Store
  • And two Planning Studio centers in Catalonia

It is a living “map” that is expanding. In addition, IKEA has an important online order distribution center in Valls (Tarragona) that covers orders and stores in Spain, Portugal and the south of France.
