ITM World Space Week was held

Morelia, Michigan, October 9, 2023.- With a vision of innovation to advance the study of aeronautics in our state, the Rocket Ponys experimental rocket team of Mexico’s National Technology Institute – Technological Institute of Morelia inaugurated Space World Week: Charting New Frontiers, Volume 2.

It was reported in a statement that the director of Tec de Morelia, Patricia Calderon Campos, made the initial announcement of the meeting designed by the Rocket Ponys group, the first experimental rocket team in the state; This event will hold workshops and conferences for those interested in studying this important specialty.

The director praised the work done by the Rocket Ponys, celebrating that they are an interdisciplinary team made up of students from almost all disciplines. He also offered support to the academic and administrative staff to promote student community projects.

“Our students know that they have Tecnológico and its academic and administrative staff, and we are here to encourage them, support them and provide them with excellent training, opening doors for them from here to wherever their imagination takes them,” the director explained. .

He added that our country needs minds that seek to contribute to society through the development of science and technology, and stated that at Tecnológico there is a commitment to quality education, which provides the necessary tools so that the student community has the necessary elements to go out and transform life, as the Bonez slogan says.

On behalf of the students, Diego José Sepulveda Pedulla, leader of the Rocket Ponys team, explained that the level they have reached as a team will lay the foundations for the Morelia Technological Institute to compete with the leaders in the subject of aviation study.
