Alex believed in importance Jeopardy! He always wanted the show to follow him, ”said E.P. Mike Richards said in a statement. “We will continue to value Alex’s legacy by continuing to produce the game he wants with smart competitors and challenging clues. Our goal is to create a community and sustainable impression on our audience by bringing in familiar guest hosts in the near future.”

Trebeck He first revealed his cancer diagnosis in March 2019 Via video notification. Although he acknowledged that his prognosis for the disease was “not very encouraging”, Trebeck said at the time that “I plan to fight this and I will continue to work.” Throughout his struggle with the disease, he continued to host Jeopardy! (Which later went into breaks due to a corona virus infection), and provided frequent health updates to fans while he was in treatment.
The end of Trebeck Jeopardy! The episode – originally aired on December 25 – now airs on Friday, January 8. During the weeks of December 21st and December 28th, the show will pay tribute by airing 10 of the best episodes of Trebeck
