“Joint”, US Awards சிறந்த Best Foreign Language Film at Infoprote

The Romanian documentary “Collective”, directed by Alexander Nanov, won the award for Best Foreign Language Film from one of America’s most important critics, the DBA acquired by APRPress said on Sunday.

The announcement was made on Twitter on Saturday by the National Association of Film Critics (NSFC) in the United States.

The film was nominated by the National Cinematography Center as Romania’s nominee for the 2021 Oscars, in the “Best International Film” category, formerly known as the “Best Foreign Film”.

This is the first time a documentary has been made by Romania’s nominee for the American Film Academy Awards.

Chinese director Chloe Zhao’s play “Nomlandland” was also named Best Picture of 2020. In addition to the Best Picture trophy, “Nomlandland” won all three awards for Best Director and Best Picture. For Best Cinematography and Best Actress, starring Frances McDormand in the lead role.

The Best Actor award went to 68-year-old British Delroy Lindo, who plays a Vietnamese player in Spike Lee’s war drama “Yes 5 Bloods”.

Bulgarian actress Maria Baklova, 24, won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Fight Next Moviefilm”.

American actor Paul Razi, 73, won the award for Best Supporting Role in the play “Sound of Metal”.
