The Clippers Have played all seasons without Kavi Leonard, But there may be good news in Los Angeles and all NBA Forward in the future.
The star has been aggressively attacking the revival of the torn ACL, and according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, he hopes to return this year. Haynes says Kavi Leonard is ahead of schedule.
“Cowie Leonard is really ahead of schedule in his resurrection and has a great chance to make a comeback this season,” Haynes said. “Speaking to many Clippers players, they said they would not worry about their fall in the playoffs, believing that if they were completely healthy, they would be more of a favorite than the majority in the West.”
After Christmas, Tyrone Lou Cavi made some positive comments about Leonard.
“He’s fine,” Tyrone Lou Cavi said of Leonard with a smile. “I’m not looking much. I’m not looking. I do not want to be too excited, you know, so I did not look.”
If the Clippers can complete the reunion, there will be a tough conversation about whether they are legitimate contenders for the NBA title. However, being healthy they have never been. In 39 games, Paul George, Marcus Morris and Nicholas Patum have only played four and a half minutes on the court.
Leonard signed a maximum of four years with Clippers last season, which was “the worst” of his contract options. The deal made many people wonder what Leonard’s plans were, but he ended the talks on Media Day.
