Kettle Marte D-Pax Injury List

D-Packs put infielder / outfielder Kettle Mart on the 10-day disability list on Thursday after Dominican attempted to move safely to the starter the night after injuring his right femur.

In a related action, infielder / offfielder Andrew Young was raised from the club’s reserve pool.

When he had to help him off the field in the sixth inning, Martே went to the Spectators’ Clubhouse in Denver on Thursday morning with an injury to his right femur.

In the sixth inning he tried to get the starter safely after hitting a ground ball in the infield, before he reached the pad and stopped and grabbed part of the right femur.

“He’s on the field here, he’s being treated, he’s still being evaluated,” T-backs manager Tori Lovlo said ahead of his team’s game against the Rockies on Thursday afternoon. “But the pain is still there. There are some things we expected.”

Team Phoenix are scheduled to return after the game, and Martே will undergo further testing on Friday.

Martே, who leads the National League batting (.522), winning (12) and doubles (4), started the game on Wednesday.
